AHA1051 is an oligomer surfactant with low surface tension, which specially designed for providing“one shot” Hybrid or TGIC powder coating with special textured finish or pattern such as hammertone or veining.

Characteristics

- Capable of once resulting structure patterns by “one shot” process, therefore ready to powder recovery and re-use.
- Low use levels and consistent textured finishes.
Use levels
Approx. 0.1-0.4% by weight, calculated on total formulation, depending on textured finish desired, such as pattern style and looser or tighter.
Incorporation
AHA1051 is added to the binder/pigment blend before extrusion, preferably, other ingredients blended in advance, then re-addition to such base powder under low shear conditions.
